A.T. is named for the portion of the
Appalachian Trail that goes through Shenandoah
National Park - where he was born. His
Mother was named for Swift Run - a
beautiful clear stream (brook) that falls to the
west from the Blue Ridge Mountains in Shenandoah
National Park.
