Joanie joined our home in February of 1996. She helped tremendously to ease the loss of Savannah. A delight to own and easy to love, Joanie has been a most welcomed addition.
Versatile is just one way to describe her. Showing, sledding, pack hiking and therapy is what she's all about.
In just 7 shows, Joanie finished her championship at the Astro World Series of Dogs, with a 4 point major. Virtually undefeated and going breed from the classes, made showing her fun!

January 1997 was a year of new beginnings. After our move from Texas to Virginia, we brought Joanie out as a special for the first time. She won Best of Breed and onto a Group 1 over the tough East Coast competition that day. Specialing her has been fun. A multiple group winner and placer, she can hold her own in the ring. Joanie has always been owner-handled.

In February of 1997, we were off to
New York for the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show, again. What
an adventure that was! She finished the year as Samoyed Club
of America's 3rd Top Winning Bitch!

We took 1998 off to move back to Texas and to enjoy the birth of
our son, Nicholas. 1999 has been a very busy year. Joanie came off the
trails and into the show ring, dazzling the judges and winning again.
Thus proving she's a versatile dog.
